Chicago, Illinois Series 3

This panoramic photograph of Chicago was taken by James Blakeway. It features a twilight view of downtown Chicago and partially frozen Lake Michigan. One of the world's tallest buildings, the Sears Tower, at 1,450 feet, is easily identified by its multi-tiered design and two communications antennae. The next tallest building to its right is the 1,136 foot Aon Center. Further right at 1,127 feet is the John Hancock Center with dual antennae. Known as the Windy City, Chicago is the third largest metropolitan area in the United States with a population of six million people.
