Michigan City Lighthouse 80

This aerial photograph of the Michigan City Lighthouse was taken by Brad Cavanaugh. The Michigan City Lighthouse, built in 1904, is connected by a pier and catwalk to the shore. Today the Michigan City Lighthouse can be found just a few miles east of the popular Indiana Dunes National Seashore, where hundreds of thousands of visitors come every summer to enjoy the dunes, one of the Midwest's greatest attractions. The famous Mt. Baldy sand dune is right next door.
