Niagara Falls

This panoramic photograph of Niagara Falls was taken by James Blakeway. The waterfalls are located on the Niagara River in western New York State and southeastern Ontario. Niagara Falls consists of three waterfalls: the American Falls to the left, Bridal Veil Falls just right of the American Falls and the Horseshoe Falls on the right of the photograph which is on the Canadian side of the border. With more than 6 million cubic feet of water falling over the crestline every minute, the Falls are capable of producing over 4 million kilowatts of electricity, which is shared by the United States and Canada.
